Overview
Join MRI Imaging Specialist as a Medical Records Manager, where your expertise will ensure the accuracy, confidentiality, and accessibility of patient medical records. In this vital role, you will oversee the organization and management of medical documentation, supporting seamless healthcare delivery and compliance with regulatory standards. You will help maintain efficient records systems that empower clinicians and administrative staff to deliver exceptional patient care.

Duties

Manage the maintenance, storage, and retrieval of all medical records to ensure they are accurate, complete, and confidential.
Utilization of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to streamline record-keeping processes.
Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and other applicable privacy laws.
Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate timely access to patient information for clinical decision-making.
Adhere to policies related to medical records management, including data security protocols and record retention schedules.
Utilize proper documentation procedures, EHR system use, and confidentiality standards.
Conduct regular audits of medical records to verify accuracy, completeness, and adherence to organizational policies.

Experience

Proven experience in a medical office or healthcare setting managing medical records or health information systems.
Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and their implementation within a clinical environment.
Strong understanding of medical terminology, coding practices, and healthcare documentation standards.
Demonstrated ability to organize complex information efficiently while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Excellent communication skills for training staff and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
