Full Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic Nurse Practitioner or Unsupervised Physicians Assistant (PA) to join our team at our Pain Relief and Wellness clinic. As a primary medical provider you’ll be both a health practitioner and an educator, supporting rehab and prevention practices and helping people lead healthy lives. You should have experience in the following Nurse Practitioner specialties: acute care, chronic care, trigger point injections, joint injections, functional medicine and therapy. As you work closely with other healthcare professionals, a team spirit and a positive attitude is a must. Patience, problem-solving skills and communication ability are important. If you’re dedicated to advancing your knowledge and clinical expertise through research and professional discourse, we’d like to meet you.

2 Options:

1. Part Time contractor Up to 2 days per week Monday and Wednesday or Monday and Thursday

2. Hybrid, see your own patients for primary, wellness care and see my patients. I pay you for my time and you pay a small percentage depending on your needs.

Responsibilities

Examine patients and their medical records
Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
Diagnose health conditions
Propose treatments for chronic and acute pain
Deliver Trigger point injection, and joint injections
Draw blood, spin and inject for PRP injections
Prescribe medications
Maintain accurate records and schedules
Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
Educate patients and their family members on pain, rehab and prevention
Promote good health practices
Advance professional knowledge and conduct research

Skills

Proven experience in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting
Expertise in primary care, acute care and chronic care practices
Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
Excellent communication skills
Strong ethics
Team spirit with a positive attitude
Patience and cool-headedness
Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience
Valid Nurse Practitioner license
or Unsupervised PA Certificate and registration
( Requirements for PA- Requirements for Collaborative (Non-Supervised) Practice To practice without a traditional supervising physician, a PA must satisfy the following: Clinical Hours: Must have at least 8,000 hours of clinical practice. Certification: Must be certified by the Arizona Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants (ARBoPA) to work without supervision. Legal Responsibility: PAs practicing under this model are legally responsible for the healthcare services they perform, rather than the liability falling on a supervising physician.
