Full Job Description

We are looking for applicants with at least 3 years of experience and must have a thorough understanding and experience in operating:

Manual Lathe

Manual Mill

CNC Mill

CNC Programing

We preferred if applicants have experience with:

CMM operation and programing
Tool and die making experience
Familiar with Fagor Controllers
Jig Bore Grinding
CAD (AutoCAD, Solidworks, Surfcam, etc.)
Ability to design and engineer specific repairs for aerospace components. We are looking for applicants that appreciate a challenge.

Summary

As a Manual Machinist, you will be integral to our manufacturing process, utilizing your expertise in blueprint reading and precision measuring instruments to produce high-quality components. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will operate CNC milling machines and coordinate measuring machines, ensuring adherence to specifications. Your skills in CAD and tool & die work will enhance our production capabilities. We expect you to leverage your mechanical knowledge and basic math skills to troubleshoot and optimize machining processes, contributing to our commitment to excellence in manufacturing. Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining specifications.
Operate CNC milling machines and lathes, ensuring precision and adherence to quality standards.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot machining issues and improve processes.
Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
