Full Job Description

We are a busy, fast-paced compounding pharmacy in Scottsdale looking for a friendly, professional, and dependable Front Desk Pharmacy Assistant / Customer Service Representative to join our team.

This position is ideal for someone with prior customer service, front desk, medical office, pharmacy, hospitality, restaurant, or retail experience who enjoys helping people, staying organized, and working in a fast-moving environment. Prior pharmacy experience is helpful, but not required.

Candidates with experience as a barista, restaurant host, server, retail associate, receptionist, medical assistant, front desk coordinator, spa/salon front desk associate, or medical office staff are encouraged to apply. If you are comfortable communicating with customers or patients, multitasking, and staying calm under pressure, this may be a great fit.

The person in this role will be one of the first points of contact for our patients, so a warm attitude, professionalism, clear communication, attention to detail, and reliability are very important.

Responsibilities include:

Greeting patients warmly and professionally when they arrive
Assisting patients with prescription pickups
Answering phone calls and helping route patient requests appropriately
Providing excellent customer service in person and over the phone
Multitasking between patients, phone calls, pickup requests, and pharmacy support tasks
Helping with shipping and receiving
Stocking and organizing pharmacy inventory and supplies
Checking in pharmacy-related supplies and chemicals
Helping maintain a clean, organized, and professional pharmacy environment
Supporting the pharmacy team with daily workflow as needed

Required Experience:

Prior customer service, front desk, receptionist, medical office, pharmacy, hospitality, restaurant, or retail experience
Experience communicating directly with customers, patients, or clients
Experience multitasking in a busy work environment

Ideal candidate will have:

A friendly, professional, and patient-focused attitude
Ability to multitask in a busy environment
Reliability and attention to detail
Comfort speaking with patients in person and over the phone
Ability to stay calm, polite, and professional under pressure
Willingness to learn pharmacy workflow and help wherever needed

Pay Information:

Pay is based on experience, professionalism, communication skills, reliability, and ability to handle a fast-paced customer service environment.

Starting pay is typically $20.00 – $21.00 per hour for candidates with strong customer service experience. Higher pay, up to $24.00 per hour, may be available for candidates with medical office, pharmacy, or high-volume front desk experience.

We are located in Scottsdale, AZ, and commuting to work in person is required.
