Job Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge in the perioperative setting. Ability to correlate clinical data with the patient’s medical condition, set priorities, delegate clear and concise directions. Have strong communication skills and ability to communicate with staff, patients, and family members. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the achievement of patient outcomes through the implementation of critical pathways and in accordance with the mission of the surgery center.

Required Skills and Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Associate’s Degree in Nursing or higher required. Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of Arizona and/or compact state. BLS is required.

· ACLS and PALS certification required within 90 days of state date

Minimum one-year licensed RN with experience in perioperative setting. Must have strong orthopedic skills to include total joints.

Pay: $38.00 - $52.00 per hour
