Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Private Chef to craft exceptional culinary experiences tailored to our distinguished clientele. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for preparing personalized, gourmet meals that meet the highest standards of quality, presentation, and dietary preferences. Client is a Professional Athlete and you will be cooking in-home dinners for 2 people. Dinners include appetizer, sometimes salad, entree, and dessert. Menu is subject to change at the clients rquest. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary artistry while providing top-tier hospitality.

Duties

Prepare customized menus and meals that align with clients’ dietary needs, preferences, and special occasions
Lead food production and food handling activities with precision, ensuring adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures
Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate shift management to maintain smooth operations and high-quality service
Manage inventory control and food management processes to optimize supplies and reduce waste
Oversee catering events, banquets, and private functions with meticulous attention to detail
Implement food service management practices that uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation
Collaborate with clients on menu planning, ensuring variety, nutritional balance, and visual appeal
Maintain compliance with all food safety regulations while supervising food preparation and serving activities
Lead by example in practicing hospitality skills such as serving, bartending, and engaging with guests professionally
Monitor costs related to food production and implement cost control strategies without compromising quality

Qualifications

Proven experience in private household kitchens with a strong culinary background.
Knowledge of dietary department practices and specialized dietary accommodations
Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
Experience in inventory management, inventory control, and cost control measures
Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures and proper food handling practices
Excellent leadership abilities combined with team management skills in fast-paced environments
Background in restaurant or hospitality management is highly desirable
Ability to plan menus thoughtfully while considering client preferences and nutritional needs
Experience overseeing shift management and coordinating multiple responsibilities seamlessly
