Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to individuals with special needs. This role involves assisting clients in their daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being, and promoting their independence in a safe environment.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care services, including assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
Support clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort.
Maintain a clean and organized living space for clients, promoting a healthy environment.
Assist with medication reminders and basic health monitoring as needed.
Foster positive relationships with clients, respecting their rights and dignity at all times.
Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
Document care provided and any changes in the client's condition or needs.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients receiving hospice or home health services.

Qualifications

Previous experience in senior care, nursing home settings, home health, or hospice care is preferred.
Knowledge of resident rights and the ability to advocate for clients effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with individuals of varying needs, including those on the autism spectrum.
Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks and maintain a clean environment for clients.
Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others live fulfilling lives.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
Must pass Background and DFS check.
Must have or acquire CPR 1st Aid
