Full Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

Perform labor-intensive tasks for assembling and preparing products. These tasks include, but are not limited to,

placing raw materials or products into manufacturing machines to aid the assembly process, packaging finished

products and organizing them for shipments and completing checks on equipment and products to ensure

quality production.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential

Monitor the efficiency of the production line to ensure timely load and shipment.

Assemble and prepare goods for shipment.

Complete quality assurance testing on goods and products.

Maintain proper storage for material and product inventory in warehouses.

Organize inventory in an easy-to-access process.

Utilize machinery such as forklifts to load orders.

Maintain the quality and upkeep of warehouse equipment including machinery.

Move materials or completed products and packages to established locations.

Ensure that our policies and procedures and customer policies and procedures are followed.

Ensure manufacturer specifications are followed and dimensions accurately noted.

Maintain a working environment that is free of safety hazards.

Perform under critical deadlines.

Perform all other duties as assigned or required.

Other Requirements:

This position may require frequent, last-minute overtime work over the weekend.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to stand for long periods, with frequent lifting, pulling, pushing.

Must be able to lift, pull or push up to 50 pounds without aid.

Must be able to work 10 hour days.

Must be able to tolerate all weather conditions, as work is in a non-climate controlled building.

Work Environment:

In an open-air warehouse, regardless of the weather. Subjected to noises common with the use of machinery.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time hourly position, and hours of work and days are usually 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Monday through Thursday. Occasional weekend work may be required as customer deadlines may demand.

Required Education and Experience:

Prior manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.

Exceptional attention to detail.

Previous experience operating machinery preferred.

Ability to operate a forklift preferred.
