Full Job Description

We are a fast paced and high-volume restaurant in Hunterdon County looking for skilled kitchen help. This is a long-term position for the right person. Must be a team player with a good attitude. Please do not apply if you do not meet the REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS.

Pay is based on experience. Willing to pay higher for more skilled candidates.

3 years minimum working in a scratch kitchen or a high-volume upscale kitchen
ServSafe certified
High school diploma, GED or equivalent
Culinary degree preferred, but not required
Stable job history which demonstrates upward career progression
Passion for culinary excellence
Knowledge of systems, methods and processes that contribute to great execution

The Sous Chef/Line Cook/Station Cook will be responsible for supporting the Executive Chef in delivering high quality and great tasting food to our customers. Day-to-day operations will include prepping of menu items and executing smooth dinner service each night. Chefs/cooks will maintain an organized and sanitary kitchen, taking pride in their work and feeling a sense of passion for our business. The Sous Chef will manage quality in all aspects of their job. Other duties as assigned.

Job Duties:

Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
Follow recipes and presentation specifications
Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
Restock items as needed throughout the shift
Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
