Full Job Description

Our Glastonbury, CT office proudly serves clients throughout the state, providing quality estate planning resources. Our goal is to help clients feel confident in the choices that they make for themselves and for their future.

Proofreading and document review

Candidates with current or recent experience in the following industries are strongly encouraged to apply:

Loan Operations

Primary Responsibilities:

Review and verify Client Asset Forms, including Deeds & comparing financial forms submitted by the clients
Proofread documents and identify discrepancies
Draft funding documents, using Funding Pro
Contact financial institutions to obtain information
Conduct research using online resources and databases
Scan and organize documents
Perform data entry with a high degree of accuracy
Audit documents and ensure compliance with established procedures

Experience Requirements:

Previous experience in accounting, banking, mortgage lending, or a related field is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of comfort working with numbers and financial data.
Ability to review and audit documents for accuracy, completeness, and inconsistencies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to meet deadlines and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Quick learner with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, 360 and other computer applications
Knowledge of or the ability to learn HotDocs and Funding Pro software.
Familiarity with websites and resources such as CATIC Land Records and individual town and county clerk land record systems.
