Job Title: Nursing Supervisor

Company: Ahva Care of Stickney
Location: Stickney, IL
Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 per year
Job Type: Full-Time – Exempt

Ahva Care of Stickney is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursing Supervisor to join our clinical leadership team. The Nursing Supervisor will oversee daily nursing operations, support nursing staff, ensure quality resident care, and help maintain compliance with facility policies and state/federal regulations.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with long-term care experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to support and guide nursing staff in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

Supervise nursing and CAN staff and daily clinical operations
Ensure residents receive quality care in accordance with care plans and facility standards
Monitor staff performance and provide guidance, support, and coaching
Assist with staffing, scheduling, and shift coverage as needed
Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns in a professional manner
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with nursing policies and procedures
Support infection control, safety, and quality assurance initiatives
Communicate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members as needed
Assist with audits, surveys, and regulatory compliance requirements

Qualifications:

Active Illinois RN license required
Previous nursing supervisory experience preferred
Long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work well under pressure and make sound clinical decisions
Knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations preferred
Must be reliable, professional, and team-oriented
Must be flexible schedule including rotating weekend

Compensation:

Salary range: $85,000 – $95,000 per year, based on experience
