Job Overview
The Plant Data & Digital Insights Analyst plays a key role in enhancing manufacturing performance by managing plant-level databases, developing advanced dashboards, and facilitating innovative data solutions. This role bridges the gap between data engineering, plant operations, and leadership by creating tools and visualizations that support actionable decisions. The analyst supports cross-functional improvement by enabling reliable, structured, and transparent data aligned with FPS performance pillars (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Maintenance, Environmental, People).
Key Responsibilities
- Database Management & Data Integrity
Manage and maintain production-related databases (SQL, Oracle, Hadoop, etc.).
Create and maintain data dictionaries and workflow structures to ensure clarity and standardization.
Conduct regular audits of databases, SharePoint environments, administrator accounts, and security groups.
Ensure alignment of database records with actual production data and system operations.
Support secure and efficient data collection across departments at the plant level.
- Dashboard Development & Visualization
Design and develop descriptive and predictive dashboards using Power BI and other tools.
Create dynamic connections between local and enterprise databases to enable real-time visualization.
Support all levels of the organization with insights tailored to different tiers of operations (Zone, Department, Plant, and Business).
Propose and deploy innovative visual management tools aligned with SQDCMEP performance targets.
- Digital Innovation & Data Strategy
Provide support to all departments by improving current dashboard processes and enabling automation.
Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to explore new data sources and translate them into business value.
Develop strategies to shift data collection and application workflows from PC-based to factory-integrated solutions.
Lead or support the development of local/national applications that facilitate data sharing and collaboration.
Administer and automate processes via SharePoint 365 and Power Automate.
- Collaboration & Communication
Engage cross-functionally to gather business requirements and rapidly prototype effective data solutions using agile methods.
Communicate and promote innovative data-driven processes that improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, and cost.
Actively participate in initiatives to align plant operations with digital transformation objectives.
- FPS Implementation supporting
Ensure all developed tools and dashboards support FPS performance pillars (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Maintenance, Environmental, People).
Collaborate with FPS Champions, Engineering, Operations, and IT to align solutions with standardized performance metrics and visual management
- FPS other activities supporting(KPI, Visualization & others)
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Power BI, SharePoint 365, and Power Automate, SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred, with libraries like Pandas, Scikit-learn, PySpark).
- Data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent).
- Understanding of OT/IT integration, industrial protocols (OPC UA, MQTT), and plant systems (MES, SCADA, Historians)
- Familiarity with data integration tools and platforms (e.g., Oracle, Hadoop).
- Understanding of data governance, security protocols, and audit procedures.
- 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing analytics, database management, or digital operations support
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT Suite, GCP) for industrial data solutions.
- Familiarity with big data frameworks (Apache Spark, Kafka) and data orchestration tools (Airflow).
- Proven track record in deploying predictive maintenance or process optimization models in production.
- Knowledge of ISA-95 architecture and industrial data standards.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Regular, predictable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role.
- Ability to move throughout offices, manufacturing facilities, and construction areas, including walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs or ladders.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25–50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting as required.
- Ability to work in varied environments, including offices, industrial, and construction settings.
- Willingness to travel to other job sites as business needs require.
