Membership Sales Director – Women’s Fitness

W3Body Women’s Training Gym – Hoffman Estates, IL
Part-Time to Full-Time | Approximately 30 Hours Per Week

Are you a natural relationship builder who loves talking to people, thrives on goals, and gets excited about helping grow a business?W3Body Women’s Training Gym is looking for a

Membership Sales Director to take ownership of membership sales and new-member growth at our Hoffman Estates location.This is not a front-desk or administrative sales position.We are looking for someone who is proactive, outgoing, highly organized, professional, and motivated by results. You’ll work closely with our General Manager while owning the front end of our sales process—from generating leads and building community relationships to conducting tours, selling trials, following up with prospects, and converting trial members into long-term W3Body members.Most importantly, we want someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people and believes in what we do: helping women become stronger, healthier, and more confident in a supportive community.

What You'll OwnMembership Sales & ClosingYou will be the primary point person for prospective members, including:

Responding quickly to new leads
Calling, texting, and emailing prospects
Booking and confirming appointments
Conducting consultations and gym tours
Learning about each prospect's goals and what brought her to W3Body
Confidently presenting our training programs
Selling trial memberships
Following up with prospects who aren't ready to make an immediate decision
Helping trial members transition into long-term memberships
Consistently working toward established sales and conversion goals

Lead Generation & Community OutreachYou'll help actively create opportunities by:

Building relationships with local businesses and organizations
Developing community partnerships
Creating referral opportunities
Participating in local events and pop-ups
Helping execute in-gym lead generation events
Reaching out to former leads and inactive prospects
Supporting corporate wellness opportunities
Collaborating with the General Manager on monthly membership growth initiatives

Lead & Pipeline ManagementYou'll own your sales pipeline and make sure opportunities don't fall through the cracks.This includes:

Daily prospect follow-up
Consistent lead nurturing
Managing leads through our CRM
Keeping accurate notes and records
Tracking prospects through each stage of the sales process
Running reactivation campaigns
Following established sales systems and processes
Maintaining organized, consistent follow-up

Trial Member ConversionGetting someone started is only the beginning.You'll build relationships with our trial members throughout their experience, including:

Checking in during their trial
Identifying members who may need additional support
Addressing questions or objections early
Tracking trial progress
Working with the W3Body team to create a great member experience
Helping trial members confidently transition into ongoing memberships

How Success Is MeasuredThis is a performance-driven position. You will have clear goals and KPIs, including:

65%+ tour-to-trial closing rate
70%+ trial-to-membership conversion rate
Leads generated
Appointments booked
Appointment show rate
Trial memberships sold
Referral-generated leads and memberships
Community partnerships and outreach activity
Follow-up consistency and speed-to-lead
Overall contribution to monthly membership growth

You'll always know what success looks like, and you'll work closely with the General Manager to review performance, identify opportunities, and continue improving.

Who We're Looking ForYou may be a great fit if you:

Have previous sales, membership, hospitality, fitness, retail, or relationship-based sales experience
Are comfortable making phone calls and initiating conversations
Are confident asking for the sale
Love meeting new people and building relationships
Are naturally proactive and take initiative
Are highly organized and consistent with follow-up
Are comfortable being held accountable to measurable goals
Are receptive to coaching, feedback, and established sales processes
Learn new systems quickly and are willing to practice and improve
Communicate professionally with prospects, members, coworkers, and leadership
Bring positive energy to work
Understand that sales success comes from consistent activity, not simply waiting for leads
Have the availability and bandwidth to make this position a meaningful professional commitment
Bonus if you have social media experience

Fitness industry experience is helpful, but great sales instincts, professionalism, coachability, and the ability to connect with people are more important.

About W3BodyW3Body is a women's training gym built around strength, coaching, accountability, and community.We aren't a traditional big-box gym where members are left to figure everything out on their own. Our members train with coaches, follow structured programming, and become part of a community of women working toward becoming stronger versions of themselves.Our Hoffman Estates location is growing, and this position will play a major role in its next stage of growth.We're looking for someone who wants to help build something—not simply work a shift.

What This Position Is NOTThis probably isn't the right role if you're looking for a quiet front-desk position, dislike making sales calls, prefer waiting for customers to come to you, are uncomfortable being measured against goals, or aren't interested in learning and following a proven sales process.But if you're competitive, personable, organized, coachable, and love the feeling of turning a conversation into a new customer relationship, we'd love to meet you.

Job Type: Part-Time to Full-Time

Expected Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week (more if you want to coach group training sessions, too)
