Full Job Description

People First Employment is seeking a professional, organized, and personable Front Office & HR Administrative Assistant for a great opportunity in Orange, CA.

This position will serve as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and vendors while providing day-to-day administrative and basic HR support to the Human Resources Director. The ideal candidate will have strong front office and administrative experience, excellent communication skills, and some previous exposure to Human Resources.

Location: Orange, CA
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM with an hour lunch

Key Responsibilities

Greet and check in employees, visitors, vendors, and guests in a professional and welcoming manner
Issue and track visitor badges and assist with visitor access procedures
Answer and direct incoming phone calls
Monitor and respond to general emails and correspondence
Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages
Maintain an organized and professional front desk and lobby area
Perform filing, scanning, copying, data entry, and general administrative duties
Maintain organized electronic and physical records
Provide administrative support to the HR Director
Assist with basic HR-related paperwork, employee files, and documentation
Help coordinate meetings, appointments, and other administrative needs
Maintain confidentiality when handling employee and company information
Assist with additional front office, administrative, and HR-related projects as needed

Qualifications

Previous receptionist, front desk, administrative assistant, or office support experience
Basic Human Resources knowledge or previous HR exposure preferred
Professional and friendly demeanor with strong customer service skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable answering phones and interacting with employees, visitors, and management
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Basic computer proficiency, including email and Microsoft Office
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy office environment
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally
Dependable, punctual, and able to work the full Monday–Friday schedule
