Housekeeper

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Part-time Housekeeper to join our team at Accela Rehab and Care Center at Somerton in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facility, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff. Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and other designated spaces
Follow daily housekeeping schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned
Dispose of trash and recyclables properly
Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
Operate housekeeping equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and cleaning solutions
Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate staff
Follow infection control and safety guidelines to ensure a hygienic and safe environment

Qualifications

Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a healthcare setting (not required but a plus)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness
Good communication and time management skills
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment
Ability to lift, carry, and move items as needed
