New Graduate Occupational Therapists start at $90,000 annually

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities

As an Inpatient Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist, you will:

Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and functional assessments
Develop individualized treatment plans to maximize independence and functional outcomes
Treat patients recovering from neurological and orthopedic conditions in an acute rehabilitation setting
Help patients regain independence with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), self-care, mobility, and upper extremity function
Provide rehabilitation for patients recovering from stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury (SCI), orthopedic surgery, and other complex diagnoses
Recommend adaptive equipment and home modifications when appropriate
Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, safety, and discharge preparation
Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, nurses, case managers, and the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
Document patient progress and modify treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Current Occupational Therapist license or eligibility to obtain Arizona licensure
New Graduate Occupational Therapists are encouraged to apply
Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills

Arizona OT license may be obtained after an offer is accepted.
