Full Job Description

Pediatric Health Care Associates is a large, pediatric, group practice on the North Shore of Boston. We are looking for a phlebotomist to join our team!

Job Description

Your role is to provide phlebotomy and point-of-care testing services under the direction of the Lab Manager. The Phlebotomist will perform daily testing accurately while maintaining a safe and professional environment. The phlebotomist collects clinical specimens and performs point-of-care testing following established practices and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Professional customer service

· Pediatric Phlebotomy

· Maintain required records and documentation

· Order Entry

· Point of Care Testing

· Be organized and dependable

Qualifications:

· Phlebotomy experience (see required experience)

· Medical Assistants (applications accepted if experience requirement is met)

· Competency in infection control procedures and preventative practices

Required Experience:

· Minimum of one year of continuous phlebotomy experience is preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills are imperative

· Proficient computer and technology skills

· Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving skills

· Must have reliable transportation

-Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

Job Type: Full-time,

Pay: Based on experience

Schedule:

Day shift, with one evening shift per week. Weekend and Holiday requirement.
Travel to one of our several office locations required (Lynn, Peabody, Stoneham, Salem, Melrose), must have reliable transportation

Experience:

Phlebotomy: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

Phlebotomy certificate (Preferred)

Work Location: In person

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 32.0 per week
