Maintenance Mechanic 2nd shift M-F 6pm-2:30am

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Maintenance Mechanic to join our growing team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. In this role, you’ll play an important part in keeping our equipment, production lines, and facility running safely and efficiently every day.

Equipment & Production Support
Perform daily and weekly equipment startups to help ensure smooth production operations.
Set up production lines and complete equipment tooling changes as needed.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain food processing and packaging equipment, including:
Mixers
Conveyors
Metal detectors
Depositers
Shrink film equipment
Printers
Labelers
Scales
Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
Replace and repair mechanical components such as bearings, chains, shafts, and V-belts.
Troubleshoot electrical systems and replace components including motors, relays, and fuses.
Facility Maintenance
Conduct routine inspections of refrigeration systems, utility rooms, roof areas, and other facility equipment.
Respond quickly to maintenance requests and support production teams as needed.
Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all company safety procedures and food manufacturing standards.
Accurately document maintenance work and repairs completed.
Use proper PPE and maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent vocational training.
Experience working in industrial maintenance or manufacturing maintenance.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
Basic PLC troubleshooting knowledge (programming experience not required).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in food manufacturing or food processing environments.
Experience with ammonia refrigeration or wastewater systems.
HVAC Technician License.
Basic plumbing and welding skills.
Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Experience using electrical troubleshooting tools such as multimeters and voltage testers.
Forklift certification is a plus.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Indoor manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on concrete floors.
Frequent lifting, bending, twisting, and climbing ladders up to 30 feet.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
