Full Job Description

Aya has an exciting opportunity in the Robbinsdale, MN area for a Patient Registration Manager.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $56–$60 per hour
Assignment Length: 12 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Location: Onsite in Robbinsdale, MN
Start Date: ASAP
Extension or permanent conversion potential: Yes

Job Summary

The Patient Registration Manager will oversee daily registration operations and lead efforts to deliver efficient, accurate, and high-quality patient access services. This role will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating department activities while partnering with Revenue Cycle and other teams to support operational performance.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day Patient Registration Department operations.
Lead, coach, and develop department staff.
Oversee staffing, productivity, performance metrics, and operational outcomes.
Support registration responsibilities across shared services.
Partner with Revenue Cycle teams regarding revenue cycle processes and point-of-service collections.
Apply knowledge of medical insurance plans as they relate to medical billing.
Identify and implement process improvements and quality initiatives.
Participate in Total Quality Management activities.
Manage departmental budgetary resources.
Develop and execute operational and strategic plans.
Promote excellent customer service and a positive patient experience.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least 3 years of healthcare supervisory or management experience required.
Experience in Patient Registration, Patient Access, or another customer-focused registration environment preferred.
Experience managing registration operations and customer service teams.
Knowledge of revenue cycle operations and point-of-service collections.
Familiarity with medical insurance plans and medical billing.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, strategic-thinking, and financial skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
