Job Summary: Act as ISSM to manage the security aspects of F-15 Training Systems and coordinate with the F-15 Training Systems Program Office.

Possess TS clearance with SCI and SAP/SAR eligibility and willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph

Demonstrated DoD 8140 role-based qualifications for Work Role 722: ISSM, Intermediate level (Cyber 101, ISSM curriculum, CLE 080, ISA 220, CLE 074, ENG 0810 plus the Intermediate-level DCWF playlist courses including cyber ranges, advanced risk management, and acquisition cybersecurity).
Education and Experience:

Two years of experience with USAF fighter squadron, group, or wing weapons and tactics shop security-related operations (F-15 or A-10 unit experience desired) OR two years of experience with DoD flying squadron, group, or wing weapons and tactics shop security-related operations.

Two years of experience using and maintaining computer systems/networks, equipment, software, as well as training users on new computer systems.
Essential Duties:
-
Manage the security aspects of F-15 Training Systems and support the Government with obtaining and maintaining Interim Authorities to Test (IATTs), Authorizations to Operate (ATOs), Interconnection Security Agreements (ISAs), Authorities to Connect (ATCs), and similar.

Responsibilities/required activities include:

Coordinate with the F-15 Training Systems Program Office (TSPO), Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) SPO Simulators Division (WNS) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (AFB), local Government personnel using the F-15 Training Systems, and the F-15 Training Systems prime contractor to ensure the cybersecurity of the F-15 Training Systems.

Ensure F-15 Training Systems are operated and maintained IAW security policies and procedures as required by the Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG), National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and F-15 Training Systems security policy.

Collect and review F-15 Training Systems audit, tools, and maintenance logs on a quarterly basis.

Conduct quarterly self-assessments/inspections to include but not be limited to review of all authorizations/approvals and assist with the necessary activities to obtain a new authorization/approval.

Ensure all F-15 Training Systems users have the requisite security clearances, authorization, need-to-know, and are aware of their security responsibilities before granting access to the F-15 Training Systems. Create accounts and ensure that necessary personnel have proper access and terminate accounts when no longer required.

Collect and review F-15 Training Systems' audit, tools, and maintenance logs on a quarterly basis. Document any deficiencies identified in the audit logs and provide the deficiencies to the Contractor ISSM and the F-15 Training Systems Program Office.

Perform compliance and vulnerability scans and reviews of the F-15 Training Systems on a quarterly basis. Support the generation of a report on the results of the scans to identify all deficiencies identified and the risk to the system based on the presence of those deficiencies.

Perform an annual risk assessment and an annual inventory of the F-15 Training Systems and associated sub-assemblies.

Support the generation, update, and/or maintenance of authorization/approval packages to include: System Security Plan (SSP), Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms), Security Control Traceability Matrix (SCTM), Continuous Monitoring Plan (CONMON), Information Assurance Standard Operating Procedures (IASOP), Hardware/Software Lists

Review, prepare, and update AIS authorization packages. Perform AIS self-inspections, provide security coordination and review of all system test plans. Identify AIS vulnerabilities and implement countermeasures. Coordinate, prepare, and track AIS inspections, reports, and responses. Ensure AIS and network nodes are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies and practices. Review, track, and conduct AIS training.

Assist Department of Defense, National Agency and Contractor organizations with the development of assessment and authorization (A&A) efforts.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Detailed knowledge and expertise required to manage the security aspects of F-15 Training Systems up to a TS SAP level.

Must have strong communication skills and be able to effectively communicate technical issues.

Experience with current system software supported at the organization to include operating system and application software packages.

Experience with troubleshooting and resolving computer and network hardware and software problems which may not be typical in nature.
Salary: The projected salary range for this position is $95,000-$105,000 and is based on experience and contractual requirements. However, this is not a guarantee of salary.
