Full Job Description

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, with occasional Fridays and (Very few) weekends for special events

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced, organized, and passionate Private Home Chef to join our household. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating fresh, nutritious, restaurant-quality meals while maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen. With healthy and nutrition at the forefront.

You will prepare daily meals tailored to our family's dietary preferences, allergies, and nutritional goals. We value high-quality ingredients, seasonal produce, and organic products whenever possible. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who takes pride in their craft and enjoys becoming an integral part of a family's routine.

Responsibilities

Prepare fresh daily breakfast and lunch meal prepped
Create restaurant-quality dinners each evening
Develop rotating weekly menus based on dietary restrictions, allergies, and nutritional goals
Source and purchase fresh groceries, with an emphasis on local, seasonal, and organic ingredients
Manage pantry and refrigerator inventory
Keep the kitchen exceptionally clean, organized, and well maintained
Handle food storage, labeling, and meal prep according to food safety standards
Coordinate grocery lists and kitchen supplies
Assist with occasional entertaining and small family gatherings
Help with light household projects or organizational tasks as needed

Qualifications

Previous experience as a private chef, personal chef, executive chef, or fine dining chef preferred
Strong understanding of nutrition and special dietary accommodations
Experience cooking with fresh, organic, and seasonal ingredients
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Professional, trustworthy, and respectful of privacy
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Schedule

Monday–Thursday
Occasional Fridays
Occasional weekends for special dinners or family events
Flexible hours based on meal schedule
