Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated, outspoken, and relationship-driven Community Engagement & Outreach Coordinator to help identify, develop, and secure partnerships with community organizations and healthcare providers. This is a commission-based, 1099 independent contractor role with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

Identify and engage potential community and healthcare partners in rural Eastern NC and surrounding areas
Build and maintain strong relationships with key community stakeholders
Develop outreach materials and represent our practice at community events, meetings, and presentations
Educate partners and community members about our services and value
Track partnership leads, outreach activities, and follow-through in a timely manner
Collaborate with leadership to support outreach strategy and growth goals

What We’re Looking For

Strong communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills
Comfortable being outgoing, persuasive, and self-directed
Preference for candidates with a background in healthcare, especially mental health, rural health, or community health
Experience in sales, marketing, promotions, advertising, or business development with a proven track record
Existing community involvement or local networks in Eastern NC is a plus
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the community
