Job Description

An established multi-activity center located in the beautiful Belle Meade area of Nashville is seeking positive, self-motivated, and energetic individuals who have a passion for fitness and wellbeing.

The Customer Care Manager is responsible for overseeing all customer-facing operations across Boost Gymnastics and Boost FitClub. This role ensures smooth daily front desk operations, exceptional member and family experiences, and consistent communication across programs. The Customer Care Manager directly supervises customer care staff, manages scheduling and timesheets, supports marketing and reporting needs, and oversees FieldHouse and pool lane rentals and contracts.

This is a full-time, hands-on leadership role that blends operations, people management, customer service, and administrative oversight, with the expectation that the manager will step in to support front desk coverage as needed.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of Customer Care/Front Desk teams at both Boost Gymnastics and Boost FitClub.
Ensure a welcome, efficient, and consistent customer experience for members, families, and guests.
Serve as a point of contact for Customer Service questions, concerns, and escalations.
Cover and support front desk shifts as needed.
Directly supervise Customer Care staff including training, coaching, and performance management.
Create and manage staff schedules, shift coverage, and adjustments when needed.
Oversee timesheets, payroll accuracy, and attendance accountability.
Assist with onboarding and ongoing training for Front Desk staff.
Create, update, and print weekly front desk calendars.
Generate and distribute new enrollment reports, class rotation printouts, FieldHouse rental reports, and Pool Lane rental reports.
Maintain organized records and ensure front desk teams have up-to-date materials.
Collaborate with leadership to support enrollment growth and program awareness.
Oversee FieldHouse and pool lane rentals while managing rental inquiries, scheduling, and coordination.
Prepare, track, and manage rental contracts.
Ensure rental clients understand policies expectations, and facility procedures.
Maintain a positive and approachable demeanor to enhance the overall Customer Care experience.
Work closely with other staff members to ensure smooth operations within the front desk and across the facility.
Enforce safety protocol and maintain a safe environment at all times for all concerned.
Immediately report injury and/or suspicious incidents to the Director; complete and submit incident report.
Attend and participate in staff meetings and training clinics.
Complete required courses and maintain current certifications required and relevant to job.

Qualifications:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with customers and fellow staff.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication + customer service skills with the ability to manage a high volume of written correspondence professionally and clearly.
Comfort scheduling, reporting, and performing administrative tasks.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, family-centered environment.
Proficient with email, spreadsheets, scheduling platforms, and basic reporting systems.
Willingness to work flexible hours and assist with front desk coverage as needed.
Proficiency in operating a variety of computer systems, as well as attention to detail in handling sensitive payment info, membership platforms, enrollment systems, and customer management rolls.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in a fitness, gymnastics, aquatics, or youth-focused environment (Preferred)
Complete program specific certifications (Required)
College degree or equivalent industry experience (Required)
Minimum 2 years relevant customer service experience (Required)
