Life Enrichment Associate - Full-Time - Join Immanuel, a team with heart!

Description:

Are you a creative, patient, and reliable person who loves planning engaging activities and making people smile? Maybe you’ve worked in day care, party/event planning, camp counseling, or recreational activities — and now you’re ready to use those skills to enrich the lives of adults in a meaningful way. If so, we’d love to have you on our Life Enrichment Team at Immanuel Campus of Care.

At Immanuel Campus of Care you are not just joining a team, you're joining a family that cares equally about it's residents and staff. Immanuel is a Continuing Care Retirement Facility with a 5 Star CMS Staffing Rating.

Job Duties

Host one-on-one visits and in-room engagement for residents.
Assist in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating quality activity programs (includes entertainment, exercise, relaxation, and education).
Escort residents to and from activities.
Assist in monitoring resident smoke breaks.
Monitor resident activity in the units and hallways.
Chart patient progress and behavior.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Previous experience working with behavioral health population, preferred.
Desire to work with residents of varying physical and mental capacities.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Ability to make independent decisions.
Ability to engage residents in recreational activities that promote well-being.

Employment Requirements

Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card (we will help you apply if needed)
Current TB Test (available on-site if needed)
Current in-person CPR/AED Certificate for Healthcare Professionals.
Current in-person First Aid Certificate.
Must be at least 21 years of age to apply.

Shifts Available:

$15.50-17.50 per hour based on years of experience. This is a full time, non-exempt FLSA position.
