Job Description:

CNC Programmer Trainee

Key Responsibilities:

CNC Programming:
- Create and maintain CNC programs for EDM, Milling, and Jig Grinding.
- Develop CNC programs for 3-axis surface milling of hardened tool steels.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Create and maintain Tooling Inspection Reports.
- Develop prototype routings and control plans.
3D Printing:
- Program, operate, and maintain 3D printers.
Collaboration and Design:
- Create product drawings in collaboration with the engineering team.
- Administer drawing files within a Product Data Management (PDM) environment.
Precision Machining [Secondary Reponsibility]
- Operate Tool Room equipment to support Operations with Tools, Gages and Fixtures.

Qualifications:

Experience:
- Minimum of five years of machining experience, including machine setup, troubleshooting, making offsets for tool wear, and part inspection.
- Ability to read technical drawings and working knowledge of GDT
- Experience with CNC programming and CAD software is a plus.
- Working knowledge of G and M codes.
- Proficiency with Excel.

Job Requirements:

Ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment with rapid changes in priority.
Ability to work at a computer workstation for extended periods.
