Assistant Food Services Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Food Services Director to join our team at Springvale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Croton-on-Hudson, New York. As a key member of our dining services team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our residents. With a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, you will work closely with our Food Services Director to ensure seamless operations and exceed the expectations of our residents and their families.

Assistant Food Services Director Responsibilities:

Assist the Food Services Director in planning, organizing, and controlling food services operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and serving residents
Coordinate with dietary staff to ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory management, including food and supplies, to ensure efficient use of resources
Implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain high-quality food presentation
Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
