Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Restoration Estimator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will evaluate damage assessments, prepare accurate cost estimates, and collaborate with clients, insurance adjusters, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution. Your expertise will help drive successful restorations while maintaining cost control and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Review damage assessments and scope of work to develop comprehensive restoration estimates
Utilize estimating software such as Xactimate to prepare detailed proposals
Negotiate with insurance adjusters, contractors, and clients to establish fair pricing and scope of work
Analyze construction site conditions and incorporate construction management best practices into estimates
Monitor project costs throughout the restoration process to ensure budget adherence and effective cost control
Prepare contracts, change orders, and other documentation necessary for project approval
Collaborate with project managers to align estimates with project timelines and resource planning

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction estimating, particularly within restoration or related fields
Strong knowledge of construction site operations, management, and contract administration
Proficiency in Xactimate
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively
Familiarity with cost control strategies, pricing techniques, and construction management principles
Construction site experience is highly preferred to understand on-the-ground realities
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
