Moving experience is preferred, but we will train the right person.

Pay: $16–$20/Hour PLUS Customer Tips
Your hourly wage is only part of your earning potential.
Our movers work directly with customers every day, and providing outstanding service creates the opportunity to earn customer gratuities on top of your regular hourly pay.
Great movers who communicate well, protect the customer's home and belongings, work efficiently, and deliver five-star service can earn meaningful additional income through tips.
Hourly pay + customer tips + paid travel = significantly more total earning potential than your hourly rate alone.

What You'll Do
Being a professional mover is about much more than carrying furniture.
Our crews are trusted inside customers' homes and businesses and are expected to represent Brazos Movers professionally from the moment they arrive until the job is complete.
You'll learn how to:
- Safely drive and operate company moving trucks
- Perform required vehicle safety inspections
- Professionally wrap and protect furniture
- Properly load and unload household and commercial goods
- Protect floors, doors, walls, stairs, and customers' homes
- Properly load trucks to prevent shifting and damage
- Safely use professional moving equipment and tools
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Work efficiently as part of a crew
- Follow company safety procedures and moving standards
- Maintain clean, organized trucks and equipment
- Provide the five-star customer service Brazos Movers is known for
Driver Requirements
You must be 21 years of age or older to drive a Brazos Movers vehicle due to insurance requirements.
A CDL is NOT required.
Driver applicants must:
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Have a valid driver's license
- Pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review
- Have a driving record that meets company and insurance requirements
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Pass a background check
- Be willing and able to safely operate a 26-foot moving truck
- Follow company and DOT safety requirements
- Be dependable and available for scheduled start times
Physical Requirements
Moving is physically demanding work.
Applicants must be able to:
- Repeatedly lift and carry 75+ pounds
- Safely carry furniture with another crew member
- Work on stairs
- Remain active and on their feet for extended periods
- Work indoors and outdoors
- Work in Texas heat and changing weather conditions
- Safely perform physically demanding work throughout the day
If you enjoy being active and would rather move than sit behind a desk all day, this may be a great fit.
Moving Experience Preferred – We'll Train the Right Person
Previous professional moving experience is a major plus, but it is not required.
We can teach someone how to properly wrap furniture, protect a home, load a truck, use moving equipment, and follow our systems.

Experience in moving, delivery, furniture, warehouse work, construction, athletics, landscaping, military service, or other physically demanding environments can be helpful.
