We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Escrow Assistant to support our commercial escrow team in Weatherford, Texas. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team-oriented atmosphere, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering top-notch service to our clients. As an Escrow Assistant, you will play a vital role in facilitating real estate transactions and contribute to the continued success and growth of our company.
Job Duties:
- Assist the escrow team in managing and coordinating all aspects of real estate transactions.
- Work closely with escrow officers, lenders, attorneys, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless and efficient closings.
- Conduct title searches, review title commitments, and resolve title issues as necessary.
- Prepare escrow instructions, settlement statements, and other relevant documentation.
- Collaborate with internal and external parties to gather and organize required documentation for closings.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and address inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in the post-closing process, including disbursement of funds and recording of documents.
Qualifications and Skills We Require:
- Three (3) years of title insurance, banking, or mortgage industry experience preferred.
- Knowledge of real estate transactions, title insurance, and escrow procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in 10-key typing for data entry tasks
- Familiarity with FNMA guidelines and basic math skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific software.
