Sales Associate:
The following agreement stipulates the terms of employment that must be adhered to by all Sales Associates employed with Three Diamond Fab, LLC.

Deliverables and Accountabilities
The Sales Associate is the key to fulfilling the promises we make to our customers. The company’s brand and financial performance rely on the proper execution of the responsibilities of this role. The areas of accountability are as follows:

Accountabilities
Deliverable 1 – New Customer Acquisition
1. Identify, contact, and qualify new prospects through activities like cold calling, networking, and visiting active jobsites or businesses.
2. Maintain records of customer contact through a call log or other means.
3. Attend all scheduled in-person sales meetings and presentations with existing and perspective customers.
4. Be mindful of material and product costs when creating a proposal.
Deliverable 2 – Revenue and quota attainment
1. Meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and quotas by selling products or services.
2. Attend all company sales training sessions.
3. Learn the product, installation procedures, material costs, etc. in order to provide the customer with an accurate and fair quote that allows for required mark-up and profit.
4. Perform follow-up calls to all outstanding customer quotes, each month.
5. Determine reason for unsuccessful sale for all sales meetings to expand learning.
Deliverable 3 – Customer relationship management
1. Building and maintaining long-term relationships with new and existing customers through regular contact and support.
2. Immediately document all leads received in company software. Include all notes and details.
Deliverable 4 - Administrative Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and update accurate data in the company’s tracking software.
2. Creating clear and effective written proposals and quotations for customers.
3. Updating all company required documents in Dropbox and other software.
4. Turn in all receipts, packing slips, pick tickets or delivery copies to the Office Manager. Submittals are due by Friday of each week.
Reporting
1. Report directly to the Operations Manager.
2. Attend all meetings on time with prep completed.
3. Maintain and update accurate data for all previously listed administrative responsibilities as per individual submission deadlines.
The following will require sign off and/or notification of the Managing Member:
1. Any serious injury or accident occurring at Three Diamond Fab, LLC’s shop facilities.
2. Any liability, warranty or damage issue.
3. Any incidence of fraud or theft within the company.
4. All purchasing of new tools.
5. Any incident involving damage to Three Diamond Fab, LLC’s or customer’s assets.
6. A serious breach by an employee or stakeholder of our corporate values.
7. Major strategic, cash, people or brand initiatives.
Compensation Structure
All Sales Associates are paid weekly. The pay period encompasses the previous week up to Thursday. Paychecks are issued on every Friday and a pay stub is attached.
· Starting Salary of $40,000.00 plus 1.5% commission on all sales payable in weekly increments every Friday.
· Truck will be provided. Gas card will be provided.
Shop Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:am to 3:30pm. Office Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00pm. As a Sales Associate, you will be expected to spend some time in the office to cover the front desk and register. The Sales team will work out a flexible schedule as they see fit. The rest of the time may be spent however you feel works best for potential customers. You will be expected to work approximately 40 hours a week.
As a salaried employee that works in an office, you will be exempt from overtime pay.
As a commissioned Sales Associate, you will be responsible for your time management. Management requests that Sales Team members keep in mind that momentum is a key factor in being successful in selling, and to make decisions about taking time off accordingly.
If the following holidays fall on a weekday, Three Diamond Fab, LLC will close on those days as well:
· New Year’s Day
· Thanksgiving Day
· Christmas Day
Employee health benefits are not covered by Three Diamond Fab, LLC. Three Diamond Fab, LLC currently pays all full-time employees not on probation a $300/month bonus, payable on the first Friday of each month, to help defray the cost of an individual health insurance policy if they wish to purchase one.
Performance reviews will take place on a quarterly basis. Raises are performance and experience based and are not guaranteed.
A 6-month probationary period will be in effect from the start of employment.
General Expectations
A laptop will be provided by Three Diamond Fab, LLC for use by the Sales Associate only. Any damages to Three Diamond Fab, LLC assets are the responsibility of the Sales Associate.
Sales Associates will have use of a truck provided by Three Diamond Fab, LLC. There are limitations to truck use and that policy will be reviewed at training A gas card will be provided with limitations. Gas cards are to remain with truck at all times.
Receipts that you are requesting reimbursement for must be submitted to the Financial Controller on a daily basis.
All travel allowance expenses not submitted by the end of the month will not be paid and cannot be banked for future payment.
Job Site Presence
Sales Associates are expected to wear sleeved shirts with Three Diamond Fab, LLC’s logo, with long pants worn at upper waist level. Clothes should be clean and free of tears.
Sales Associates must adhere to all OSHA safety practices at all times and ensure that other team members are doing the same.
All employees must refrain from the use of inappropriate language on and around Three Diamond Fab, LLC job sites and while wearing Three Diamond Fab, LLC attire in the community. Any music played on a Three Diamond Fab, LLC job site or fabrication shop must contain appropriate language.
It is expected that all Sales Associates have a valid driver’s license and vehicle. Vehicles should be clean when going to in-house sales presentations.
Absenteeism
After the probationary period, Sales Associate will be allowed 5 paid sick days. Sales Associate must notify the Sales Manager by 6:30am if they are sick and require a day off. A doctor’s note will be required for illnesses requiring more than 3 consecutive days off.
Sales Associates are expected to be in the office or field by 8:00am each workday while on salary or commission/salary. Sales Associates must notify the Sales Manager by 6:30am if they are going to be late.
Work will commence as scheduled regardless of the weather unless otherwise stated by the Operations Manager.
Attendance to all staff meetings and training sessions is mandatory.
Resignation, Employee Enforcement & Termination
Sales Associates agree to give a full 2 weeks’ notice to Bill Pinkerton or Pam Pinkerton, the managing partners, prior to resignation.
Certain circumstances may lead to reprimanding prior to termination by way of a “3 strikes you’re out” scenario. Such actions may include but are not limited to:
- unsatisfactory completion of work or fulfillment of your position
- not showing up to work or not showing up to work without proper notice given
- general disinterest towards the job which brings down the morale of other crew members
- general bad attitude
At the first incident an official verbal warning will be given. Upon a second incident, an official written warning will be issued outlining the parameters of the warning. If management has reason to issue a third notice, termination of the employment agreement may be considered.
Certain circumstances may lead to immediate termination. Such actions may include but are not limited to:
- fighting (with other employees, subcontractors, customers, or suppliers)
- discussing pay with other employees.
- being intoxicated
- stealing from the company, its employees, subcontractors, customers, or suppliers
- revocation of a driver’s license which prevents you from being able to fulfill your duties and obligations
- reckless use of employee equipment
- endangering yourself or others by way of un-safely going about completing tasks
