What to expect working at GFCC under this position.
We have a great staff AKA great co-workers! This position works alongside our Executive Chef, our other culinary team members, and servers. We are an upscale casual restaurant that hosts a variety of dining experiences, including banquets and parties, buffets, and member dining. This is a place where you can make friends, move up the ladder, and network with our members, many of which are the business owners of Grand Forks. One thing is for sure; no matter when you finally leave this company, you will be a better person and a better cook or chef.
Line cook / & / Prep cook / & / Short Order
Duties include chopping and dicing vegetables, par-cooking certain items for future preparation, proper food handling, labeling and dating items, assembling food orders to completion, cleaning of kitchen and surfaces during and after prep, stocking lines, taking out trash, dish washing, working efficiently, being part of a team and communicating as such, following company protocols and policies, and being reliable and timely.
- Experience not required but most certainly welcome.
- Reliable transportation is necessary.
- Must be 18 years old, due to the nature of the work.
- Pay depends on experience and which job you are hired for.
