Overview
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Operator and become a vital part of precision-driven production. In this role, you will operate and maintain various CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, including lathes, milling machines, and machining centers, to produce high-quality components. Your expertise in programming, setup, and troubleshooting will ensure efficient operations and top-tier product quality. This position offers an energetic environment where your mechanical skills and attention to detail will drive manufacturing excellence.

Duties

Set up CNC machinery such as CNC lathes, milling machines, and CNC machining centers using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files and blueprints.
Program CNC machines utilizing CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and Fanuc controls to produce precise parts.
Interpret technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.
Operate auxiliary equipment including press brake machines, stamping presses, and fabrication tools to support manufacturing processes.
Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify dimensions.
Maintain safety standards by handling materials with forklifts and managing materials handling tasks efficiently within the factory environment.
Troubleshoot machine issues, perform minor repairs, and adjust tooling to optimize machining performance.
Document production data accurately, including shift reports and quality logs, ensuring compliance with manufacturing protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar equipment in a manufacturing facility.
Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages and CAM software; familiarity with Fanuc controls is highly desirable.
Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and utilize GD&T for precise machining.
Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements and machine adjustments.
Familiarity with factory safety procedures, materials handling equipment like forklifts, and warehouse operations.
Knowledge of fabrication processes including welding, tooling setup, and assembly line workflows is a plus.
Solid understanding of manufacturing standards related to quality control and process optimization. Join us in creating high-quality components through innovative machining techniques!
