Full Job Description

** MUST HAVE AEROSPACE EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED**

Unitek Technical Services provides supplier management, development, and related technical services to corporations around the world.

Job Title: Source Inspector (Part-time)

Scope: Source Inspector needed to perform visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and/or sub-assemblies. Inspects parts to engineering drawings, customer purchase order(s), work orders, industry standards, and specifications. The inspector may report detailed inspection accept / reject information directly to the customer with shipments.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years’ experience with Mechanical / Electronic inspection in a manufacturing or production environment.
Experience in the quality field on machined / mechanical parts using GD&T interpretation, able to use Optical Comparator and/or Vision Systems, exposure to CMM manual inspection, work with profilometers, thread gages / pin gages and various micrometers and caliper types.
Knowledgeable with AS9102 FAIR (First Article Inspection Report) documentation. Familiar with AQL, sampling methods and traceability.

Must be a US Citizen
Frequency: 2 visits per month (8 hr/visit)
Duration: Ongoing
W-2 Contract

Candidates will be interviewed directly by the Client’s Senior Quality Engineer. Once selected, the candidate will travel to the client's facility for training and go over the PO, drawings, Source Inspection requirements and forms.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour
