Job Summary:
Ag Express Electronics is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator who will be responsible for providing a positive first impression to visitors and customers, maintaining effective communication regarding order status, and ensuring exceptional customer experience. This role supports shipping and receiving functions, manages inventory using ERP system, and maintains accurate records of visitor and customer transactions. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, organizational ability, and a professional, welcoming demeanor.
This position is located at our Grand Island, Nebraska location.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction

Greet and assist visitors at the front counter in a courteous and professional manner.

Maintain open communication with customers and implement dealers regarding order status and inquiries.

Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing needs promptly and providing knowledgeable assistance.
Communication

Answer and route incoming phone calls, emails, and other communications related to Ag Express products and services.

Direct calls to appropriate personnel and relay messages accurately.

Maintain a professional and helpful tone in all customer and internal communications.
Inventory Management

Accurately receive, stock, and label inventory using ERP system to ensure real-time data integrity, maintaining accurate inventory records across all site-specific locations.

Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure proper stock levels and minimize shortages, transferring inventory between locations as needed.

Ensure adherence to proper inventory handling, storage, and labeling practices.
Shipping and Receiving

Verify shipping destination information and reconcile packing slips against purchase orders.

Prepare, package, and ship outbound parts and repairs according to company standards.

Unpack inbound packages from customers and suppliers, ensuring accurate documentation and handling.
Documentation and Transactions

Record and maintain customer and order data from received packages, including billing, return shipment, and repair request details.

Process credit card transactions in accordance with company policies and security standards.

Maintain accurate and organized records of shipments, receipts, and customer interactions.

Perform other duties as assigned to support the department and organization.

Required Experience/Education/Training/Certifications:

Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Work Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service, shipping/receiving, or administrative support preferred.

Experience in manufacturing, service, or technical environment is a plus.

Computer Skills:

Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications.

Comfortability using ERP or inventory management systems for data entry and tracking.

Ability to operate standard shipping equipment (scanners, scales, label printers, etc.).
Physical Demands:

Lifting and Carrying: The role may involve lifting and carrying office equipment or materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

Mobility: Occasionally, the role may require the ability to ascend and descend ladders to access high-level shelving where certain equipment and tools are located.

Standing and Walking: Some tasks may require standing and walking around the facility for periods of time, such as collaborating with coworkers and acquiring inventory.

Sitting for Extended Periods: Much of the work may be conducted at a desk or workstation, requiring the ability to sit for extended periods.
