An overview of this position entails…This position is responsible for the planning, directing, and overseeing operations and maintenance services in order to assure the efficient and safe functioning of assigned facilities in accordance with Local, State, and Federal requirements. This position is also responsible for coordinating and overseeing building maintenance programs and facility budgets while directly supervising and supporting assigned personnel in the performance of their job functions and evaluations; and serving on the assigned facilities leadership teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direct oversight and coordination of MMS (Maintenance Management System) for all work orders and projects taken on by specific facilities, while also providing higher levels of expertise and trade skills where necessary.
- Direct supervision of assigned maintenance personnel (evaluate, schedule, coordinate/oversee activities, professional development, train, orientate, advise, pay records, etc.) for the purpose of maximizing workforce efficiency, meeting legal requirements and department objectives, and ensuring the provision of excellent customer service.
- Review and analyze work order completion and evaluate resident satisfaction with maintenance response.
- Provide coordination and implementation support for all aspects of the facility health and safety requirements by conducting scheduled drills, inspections, and necessary training, as well as the necessary reporting and documentation to fulfill local, state, and federal compliance requirements.
- Research plan and implement new or retrofit money saving facility equipage in order to make operations more cost effective, including space planning and management.
- Provide development, monitoring, and oversight of specific maintenance, repair and capital improvement portions of annual Facility Budget, under the oversight and direction of the Program/Facility Director.
- Actively attend and participate in meetings and workshops, relative to facility and safety issues, scheduled by the Program/Facility Director, Corporate Office, or Maintenance Department
- Oversight of all outside vendors and work order processes, as well as, purchasing and ordering supplies and materials.
- Promote and manage Hilltop’s Maintenance Service to organizations outside of Hilltop. Actively seek new opportunities for our Facility Maintenance Service while managing our current contracts to ensure completion and a high level of customer service and responsiveness.
- Provide day-to-day assistance to Property Services Assistant Director when required.
- Participate in on-call rotation with other Facility Managers.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in related field and two years or related work experience, with two years being supervisory experience or eight years of related experience, with two years being supervisory; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience supervising a multiple site maintenance team is a plus!

- Fabricators and Manufacturers Association International Certificates (FMA) (preferred)
- Facilities Management Certificate (FMC) (preferred)

- Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers (FAC-P/PM) (preferred)
- Current First Aid/CPR Training (preferred)
- OSHA 30-Hour Training (preferred)
- Valid Colorado Driver’s License
