NOW HIRING: HDD DRILLING LOCATOR / LABORER
We are looking for a hard-working, dependable, and motivated individual to join our underground construction team as an HDD Drilling Locator / Laborer.
This is a full-time position with opportunities to learn, grow, and advance within the company.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Class A CDL preferred — if you do not currently have a CDL, you must be willing to obtain one
- Must be competent and comfortable pulling trailers with equipment
- Must be willing and able to travel for work
- Must be willing to be away from home for multiple weeks at a time
- Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-minded
- Must be physically capable of performing general labor and construction duties
- Must be a hard worker with a positive attitude
- Must be willing to learn and take direction
- Previous HDD, underground utility, locating, or construction experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
JOB DUTIES
- Operate and monitor HDD locating equipment
- Track drill head location, depth, and direction
- Assist the HDD operator and drilling crew
- Set up and tear down drilling equipment
- Pull and maneuver trailers and equipment
- Load, unload, and organize tools and materials
- Assist with mud mixing and drilling operations
- Perform general labor duties on construction sites
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all company and job-site safety requirements
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Perform other duties as needed
