We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Residential wireman -Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical work, with the ability to handle both high and low voltage systems. This role requires expertise in reading schematics and blueprints, as well as proficiency with various power tools and hand tools. The Residential wireman-Journeyman Electrician will play a crucial role in renovating existing electrical systems, building new installations, and ensuring all work meets safety standards.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Renovate existing electrical installations to enhance functionality and compliance with current codes.
- Work with high voltage and low voltage systems, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various tasks including wiring, lighting installation, and circuit repairs.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to execute projects accurately.
- Perform frame carpentry as needed to support electrical installations or modifications.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently while adhering to timelines.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.

Requirements
- Valid electrician's license or certification as a Residential wireman or Journeyman Electrician.
- Proven experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately.
- Proficiency with power tools (e.g., drills, saws) and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, screwdrivers).
- Experience in renovation projects is preferred; maintenance person skills are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.

Pay: $23.00 - $40.00 per hour
