Full Job Description

The E-commerce Associate is a multifaceted role responsible for a variety of tasks within the production, inventory, and shipment processes. This position entails working across various production lines, overseeing inventory control, managing outgoing shipments, completing coffee orders, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

As an Ecommerce Associate, you will embody and promote our core values by Giving a Damn about the accuracy and presentation of every order that leaves our facility. You will Celebrate Service by treating every online customer with the same care as a cafe guest, Embrace Growth through mastering our digital systems, and Assume the Best in your communications, while Finding the Fun as you connect the Schuil experience to coffee lovers everywhere.

Key Responsibilities:

General Production:

● Works on different production lines and assists with prep work.

● Cross trains in various production jobs to ensure adaptability and flexibility within the company.

Inventory Control:

● Maintains inventory levels of shipping materials, products, and supplies, promptly alerting the manager of low stock.

● Maintains par stock levels

● Participates in quarterly physical inventory counts and maintains weekly inventories as assigned.

● Ensures orders are picked accurately.

Picking and Shipping Orders:

● Carefully picks and marks items for orders, handles packaging ensuring safe shipment, and prepares necessary paperwork. (Average of 40 orders per hour)

● Determines suitable shipping methods, resolves shipping issues promptly, and files claims for lost/damaged products.

● Double checks picked order for accuracy

Customer Service:

● Respond to customer emails

● Answer customer phone calls

Cleaning:

● Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of the work area, ensuring a safe production space.

● Performs routine cleaning and maintenance tasks

● Adheres to company GMP standards and follows all applicable food safety procedures.

Qualifications:

● Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy and time management.

● Quality-focused mindset.

● Prior shipping experience, familiarity with the Shopify system is a plus.

● Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a variety of conditions (hot, cold, etc.).

● Ability to bend, reach and use ladders to access products.

● Ability to pack an average of 40 orders per hour.

● This is a Monday-Saturday role with the exception of Black Friday and select Sundays during the Holiday season where overtime may be required.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Must be able to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for extended periods
Must be able to occasionally lift, move, or position production samples or materials weighing up to [e.g., 30–50] pounds.
