Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Automotive Finance and Insurance (F&I) Manager to join our sales team. This pivotal role combines automotive sales expertise with financial services acumen, empowering customers to secure the best financing and insurance options for their vehicle purchases. As an F&I Manager, you will guide clients through the loan process, structure deals that benefit both the customer and dealership, and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations. Your energetic approach will help foster lasting customer relationships, drive sales, and maximize profitability while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and compliance.

Responsibilities

This is a commission only position. Performance Pay is up to $120,000.

Engage with customers to understand their financial needs, providing expert advice on automotive financing and insurance options.
Present various financial products, including loans, extended warranties, protection plans, and other dealership offerings that customers want to buy.
Structure deals by analyzing credit reports, performing credit analysis, and ensuring accurate transaction structuring aligned with dealership policies.
Process loan applications efficiently using industry-standard financial software such as Tekion or similar platforms, ensuring all documentation complies with TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and other federal regulations.
Negotiate terms with lenders and customers to achieve mutually beneficial agreements while adhering to automotive sales industry regulations.
Manage title processing, contract preparation, and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately for each deal.
Maintain excellent customer relationships through clear communication, follow-up, and exceptional service to foster repeat business and referrals.
Stay current on industry knowledge of financial regulations, dealership compliance standards, and evolving automotive financing trends to provide informed guidance.

Qualifications

Proven experience in automotive sales or dealership finance roles; loan officer experience is highly valued.
Strong understanding of automotive financing processes, including credit analysis, transaction structuring, and loan processing.
Familiarity with financial regulatory compliance such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act), Title processing requirements, and industry-specific legal standards.
Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining integrity.
Proficiency in financial software systems like Tekion or equivalent dealership management tools.
Basic math skills including detailed input and accuracy.
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on client communication and relationship management.
Knowledge of automotive sales industry regulations and dealership operations; experience with deal structuring within a sales environment is preferred.
Ability to analyze credit reports accurately and assess client eligibility for financing options.
