Job Title: Line Cook – Pizza Restaurant

Location: Bear Ridge Pizza

Job Type: [Full-time / Part-time] ; Wednesday - Sunday 4-10pm

Reports To: Kitchen Manager / Head Chef

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Line Cook to join our team at Bear Ridge Pizza, a fast-paced pizza restaurant known for quality ingredients and exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, especially in pizza or similar high-volume kitchens, and a passion for working in a collaborative, high-energy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook pizzas and other menu items according to standardized recipes and customer preferences.
Operate kitchen equipment including pizza ovens, grills, and fryers safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work station in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Assist in prep work such as chopping vegetables, making sauces, and preparing dough and toppings.
Monitor food quality and freshness, and report any issues to kitchen leadership.
Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Follow portion control and waste management procedures to minimize food costs.
Clean and sanitize cooking surfaces, utensils, and kitchen areas at the end of each shift.

Qualifications:

Previous line cook or kitchen experience required; pizza-making experience is a plus
Basic understanding of food safety and kitchen sanitation standards
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
