Full Job Description

Kellex Seating is seeking a highly motivated EXPERIENCED CNC Plywood Router Operator for our furniture manufacturing plant in Valdese, NC.

Responsibilities:

* Loading raw plywood sheets, setting up tooling (cutting bits), and calibrating the CNC router to ensure accuracy.

* Loading computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) programs, setting machine coordinates, and starting the cutting settings to maintain efficiency.

* Overseeing the machine during operation, listening for malfunctions (such as tool wear or vibration), and adjusting settings to maintain efficiency,

* Inspecting the completed wood components using calipers or tape measures to verify compliance with technical drawings.

* Loading and unloading sheets of wood, often requiring forklift or manual lifting, and clearing scrap material.

* Performing regular maintenance (lubrication, cleaning) and following strict safety protocols.

Position Requirements:

* Excellent oral and written communication skills.

* Ability to work in a team environment.

* Experience in woodworking and/or furniture manufacturing.

* Must display a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail.

* CNC Plywood Router Operator Experience - 3 years preferred

* Must be able to read a tape measure/ruler and use tools such as a wrench.

* Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background screen.
