Office Administrator

Stewart Brothers Drilling Co. — Grants, NM

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay: Based on experience

About Us

Stewart Brothers Drilling Co. is a water well drilling contractor serving commercial, community, municipal, and agricultural clients. We're looking for an organized, dependable Office Administrator to join our Grants, NM office and help keep our day-to-day operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do

Accounting Support

● Assist with accounts payable and basic bookkeeping tasks

● Help track job-related costs

● Support month-end and reporting tasks as needed

HR Support

● Assist with employee onboarding and recordkeeping

● Help maintain personnel files and ensure compliance documentation is up to date

● Support scheduling, timekeeping, and other HR administrative tasks

General Office & Business Support

● Answer and direct incoming phone calls

● Greet visitors and manage front-office duties

● Provide general administrative support across departments as needed

What We're Looking For

● Prior office administration, bookkeeping, or HR support experience preferred

● Cross-trained on payroll

● Strong communication skills, both on the phone and in person

● Comfortable with basic accounting software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

● Highly organized with strong attention to detail

● Able to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced office environment

● Reliable and professional
