Stephens Media Group is looking for a Radio & Digital Marketing Consultant to join our Medford sales team. This is an opportunity to build a rewarding career representing trusted local radio stations and a full portfolio of digital advertising solutions.
You will work directly with local business owners and decision-makers to understand their goals, develop customized marketing strategies, and help them reach the right customers through radio and digital advertising.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect for and develop new local business relationships
- Meet with business owners to learn about their goals and marketing needs
- Create customized radio and digital advertising proposals
- Present marketing campaigns clearly and professionally
- Manage the complete sales process, from initial contact through closing
- Build long-term client relationships based on trust and measurable results
- Maintain regular communication with clients and provide ongoing campaign support
- Identify opportunities to expand existing client accounts
- Negotiate advertising agreements and maintain accurate sales records
- Consistently work toward individual and company sales goals
What We’re Looking For
- Previous sales experience is required
- Experience in radio, digital advertising, media, or business-to-business sales is preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- A confident, professional, and outgoing personality
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- A results-driven attitude with a commitment to excellent customer service
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience using CRM software is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- College degree in business, marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field is preferred, but not required
Driving Requirements
This position requires regular travel to meet with clients throughout the local market.
- A valid driver’s license is required
- A dependable personal vehicle is required
- Candidates must be able to maintain appropriate automobile insurance
Compensation
- Estimated annual compensation of $36,000–$84,000
- Commission pay
- Earnings are based in part on individual sales performance and account growth
