Description
Parent Education Supervisor | Leading Professionals, Strengthening Families & Creating Lasting Change
Wellspring Lutheran Services – Gaylord | Otsego, Crawford, Alcona, Antrim and Oscoda counties | Full-time | Hybrid | Salary $50,000
You chose social work because you believe families can grow, heal, and succeed.
You understand that parenting is one of the most important and challenging responsibilities a person can have. You know that many families are doing the best they can while navigating stress, trauma, limited resources, and complex life circumstances. You also know that when caregivers receive the right support, education, and encouragement, positive change is possible.
As your career has grown, you've likely discovered another passion: helping other professionals do this work well.
You understand that strong teams create stronger outcomes for families. When staff feel supported, developed, and empowered, they are better equipped to help parents build confidence, strengthen relationships, and create safer, healthier environments for their children.
At Wellspring Lutheran Services, we're looking for a Parent Education Supervisor who will work within our Foster Care Supportive Visitation program who is passionate about developing staff, supporting families, and creating opportunities for lasting change.
In this role, you'll provide leadership and clinical supervision to a team of Parent Education Providers while helping ensure families receive high-quality, family-centered services. You'll support the staff who walk alongside parents every day while helping shape a program that empowers families to thrive.
Most importantly, you'll help strengthen families by supporting the professionals who serve them.
What Your Impact Will Look Like
You'll lead and mentor a team dedicated to helping parents build skills, strengthen family relationships, and create positive futures for their children.
You'll provide coaching, guidance, and supervision that helps staff grow professionally while delivering effective, compassionate services to families.
You'll help create a culture built on collaboration, accountability, encouragement, and continuous learning.
You'll support staff as they navigate complex family situations, celebrate progress, and identify strategies that help families overcome barriers and achieve their goals. [Parent
You'll ensure services are provided in accordance with contract requirements, licensing standards, and best practices while maintaining a focus on positive outcomes for families.
You'll collaborate with community organizations, courts, child welfare professionals, service providers, and community partners to help families access resources and support systems.
Some days you'll be coaching a team member through a challenging family situation. Other days you'll be reviewing service plans, coordinating community partnerships, supporting program operations, or celebrating a family's success story with your team.
Every day, your leadership will help create opportunities for children and families to succeed.
Why This Role Matters
Strong families are the foundation of strong communities.
Parent education programs help caregivers build confidence, strengthen parenting skills, improve family relationships, and create safer environments for children. Behind those services are professionals who need guidance, support, and leadership to do their best work.
As a Parent Education Supervisor, you'll help ensure both staff and families have the resources, knowledge, and support they need to achieve meaningful outcomes.
Your impact won't be measured only by the families you serve directly, but by the many families supported through the team you help develop.
