About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, high-performing Housekeeper to help maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and overall resident experience in our luxury apartment community.
This is not a basic cleaning role—you’ll play a key part in delivering a resort-quality environment for residents. If you take pride in your work, notice the small details others miss, and enjoy working independently while being part of a team, you’ll thrive here.
What You’ll Do
Unit Turnover & Deep Cleaning
- Perform deep cleaning of vacant apartments (kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, floors, windows, patios/balconies)
- Clean and sanitize washers/dryers, cabinets, and all interior surfaces
- Ensure units meet move-in ready, luxury standards
Common Area & Amenity Cleaning
- Maintain cleanliness of clubhouse, gym, pool deck, restrooms, hallways, and outdoor areas
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces and restock supplies
- Keep all shared spaces consistently clean, safe, and presentable
Maintenance Awareness & Team Support
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damages to management promptly
- Coordinate with maintenance during unit turnovers and repairs
- Assist with event setup/cleanup and additional resident or concierge cleaning needs
Inventory & Operations
- Monitor and track cleaning supplies and equipment
- Notify management when restocking is needed
- Follow all safety protocols, OSHA standards, and company policies
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Core Skills:
- Experience in housekeeping, custodial, janitorial, or commercial cleaning
- Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation practices, and floor care (carpet, laminate, etc.)
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality and cleanliness standards
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Good communication and basic customer service skills
- Professionalism and respect for resident privacy
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in luxury apartments, hotels, vacation rentals, healthcare, or commercial cleaning
- ISSA custodial certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work on feet for extended periods
- Comfortable working in varied conditions (indoors/outdoors, weather, stairs, confined spaces)
