Past Kitchen Experience - 3+ Mandatory

We are on the lookout for a passionate and detail-oriented Pizza Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be the heartbeat of our pizza station, crafting delicious, high-quality pies that keep our guests coming back for more. Your skills in food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety will ensure that every pizza served meets our standards of excellence. If you thrive in a lively environment and love working with fresh ingredients, this is the perfect opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and be part of a team.

Our hope is to hire someone soon, train them for 1 week at our other location.

TASKS AND COMPETENCIES:

➢ Sets up the work station by checking the work table, equipment, and makes sure they are properly stocked prior to the meal production period.

➢ Complies with all portion sizes, quality standards, employee rules, policies, and procedures.

➢ Selects and uses knives, utensils and other equipment to portion, cut, slice and dip, to ensure proper food levels are available for the meal periods.

➢ Monitors all food production areas for safety and sanitation practices and procedures. Checks walk-in refrigerator and dry storage areas for cleanliness and orderliness.

➢ Keeps dish area, mop sink, shelves, garbage cans, floors, walls, and storage areas clean and orderly.

➢ Cleans and sanitizes workstations during meal preparation periods and at the end of the meal period.

➢ Removes trash from kitchen and places it in dumpster. Cleans and sanitizes garbage cans and keeps clean liners in cans at all times.

➢ Communicates clearly and efficiently to food production personnel, receives information and feedback from them on their needs, and takes action based on observation and information received.

Responsibilities

Prepare pizza dough, toppings, and sauces according to established recipes and quality standards.
Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment efficiently to produce consistent results.
Assist in food preparation for pizza station
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the pizza station, adhering strictly to food safety sanitizing
Support high-volume production during busy hours while ensuring each pizza is cooked to perfection.
Follow all food handling and safety regulations to prevent cross-contamination and ensure guest safety.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.

Requirements

Previous experience in restaurant kitchens, especially with pizza or high-volume food production, mandatory
Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to support a collaborative kitchen environment.

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
