Pediatric Physical Therapist

Washington, DC | Full-Time | W-2 Employee $85–$95/hour + Benefits

Bumblebee Pediatric Therapy is growing, and we are looking for a Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Washington, DC.

If you are looking for a practice where you can focus on high-quality clinical care, collaborate closely with experienced PT, OT, and SLP colleagues, and build meaningful relationships with children and families, we'd love to meet you.

Who We Are

Bumblebee Pediatric Therapy is an established multidisciplinary pediatric practice providing Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech-Language Therapy under one roof. We believe children make the greatest progress when therapists work together, families are active partners, and clinicians have the time and support needed to do their best work.

Our team is committed to thoughtful, evidence-informed care rather than high-volume productivity expectations. We intentionally maintain manageable caseloads and prioritize collaboration, mentorship, and professional growth.

This position includes an existing caseload and opportunities to continue building a schedule through established referral relationships and ongoing community demand.

What Makes This Position Different?

Many pediatric therapists enter the field because they want to help children, but quickly find themselves overwhelmed by unrealistic productivity expectations, limited mentorship, and little opportunity for collaboration.

Ongoing mentorship and support from experienced clinical leadership
Daily collaboration with PT, OT, and SLP colleagues
Manageable caseload expectations (25 billable hours or fewer per week)
Current caseload available with established referral sources and ongoing demand for services

What You'll Do

Evaluate and treat children with a variety of developmental, neurological, and genetic conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans and home recommendations
Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions
Collaborate with families and other members of each child's support team
Work closely with OT and SLP colleagues to provide integrated, whole-child care
Complete documentation in a timely and professional manner
Participate in monthly paid Work Days focused on collaboration, planning, and professional development

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapy license (or eligibility for licensure) in Washington, DC
Pediatric experience preferred
Experience working with neurodiverse children and families preferred
Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills

$85–$95/hour based on experience
