Certified Epic Resolute Professional Billing (PB) Analyst
Remote (U.S. Based) | Full-Time | 6+ Month Contract
Are you an experienced Epic Resolute Professional Billing (PB) Analyst looking for your next remote opportunity? We are seeking a highly skilled professional with deep expertise in Epic Professional Billing configuration, claims management, charge review, and Workqueue development to support a large U.S.-based healthcare organization.
This is a 100% remote position for candidates located within the United States. The ideal candidate is Epic PB Certified and has extensive hands-on build and support experience in Professional Billing.
Position Summary
The Epic Resolute Professional Billing Analyst will be responsible for supporting, optimizing, and enhancing Epic PB workflows, billing operations, charge management, denial management, and claims processing. This role requires a strong understanding of Epic configuration, revenue cycle workflows, and healthcare billing best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Current Epic Resolute Professional Billing (PB) Certification (Required)
- 3–5 years of hands-on Epic Resolute Professional Billing Analyst experience
- Experience supporting healthcare revenue cycle operations
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Required Epic Professional Billing ExperienceWorkqueues (WQs)
- Build and maintain Workqueues based on missing diagnosis (DX) information
- Design and optimize Workqueues to improve billing workflow efficiency
- Experience supporting operational Workqueue management
Charge Review & Charge Routing
- Charge Adjustment Review
- Charge Routing configuration and support
- Charge Overrides for promotional screenings
- Experience supporting Critical Access Hospital (CAH) inpatient charge workflows and related HARs
Retro Billing & Denials
- Retro billing experience
- Claims readjudication for denials
- Build Workqueues based on denial types and categories
- Manage adjustment Workqueues for denial sign-off
- RMC Overrides based on non-payment guidelines
Claims & Statements
- Create and maintain Claims Statements
- Experience with Claim Definition Files (CDFs)
- CDF Overrides
- Claims configuration and troubleshooting
Self-Pay Billing Office (SBO)
- Epic SBO experience included within PB Certification
- Patient Statement creation
- Bad Debt Vendor file management
- Self-pay billing workflow support
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting multiple healthcare facilities
- Knowledge of Epic Revenue Cycle integrations
- Experience collaborating with operational, billing, and clinical stakeholders
- Strong documentation and build methodology skills
