NeuroPong Executive Assistant and Program Coordinator

Position Overview

NeuroPong is seeking an energetic, highly organized, dependable, and mission-driven ‘Executive Assistant and Program Coordinator’ to work directly with our Founder and CEO, Dr. Antonio Barbera, in supporting the day-to-day operations of our rapidly growing nonprofit organization.

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit leadership, healthcare innovation, community engagement, event management, and program development while helping improve the lives of individuals living with Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, dementia, stroke, traumatic brain injury, and other neurological conditions through the transformative power of table tennis.

The Executive Assistant and Program Coordinator will play an important role in helping NeuroPong (http://neuropong.org) expand its programs, strengthen community partnerships, coordinate events, and support organizational growth. No two days are the same, making this an ideal position for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and thrives in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative and organizational support to the Founder and CEO in the day-to-day operations of NeuroPong.
Assist with scheduling, communications, meeting coordination, correspondence, travel arrangements, and other administrative tasks.
Help maintain participant, volunteer, event, and organizational records through data entry and use of online databases and software systems.
Provide support for NeuroPong programs, events, fundraising activities, marketing initiatives, community outreach, and special projects as needed.
Assist with event preparation, logistics, registration, equipment, and follow-up for classes, demonstrations, conferences, and community events.
Help monitor ongoing projects, organize information, and ensure timely follow-up on action items.
Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned in support of NeuroPong’s mission.

What We Are Looking For

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and common online software platforms; willingness to learn new systems.
Comfortable with data entry and maintaining accurate records.
Interest in nonprofit organizations, healthcare, community service, or program management.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional local meetings and events.
Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds and assist with event setup.
Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends for special events.
A genuine enthusiasm for NeuroPong’s mission and a desire to make a positive impact.

Time Commitment

Part-time position (approximately 10 hours per week).
Flexible schedule.
Hybrid work environment with a combination of remote work and in-person meetings with the NeuroPong founder in Fort Collins, CO.
Opportunity for increased responsibilities and additional hours as NeuroPong continues to grow.

Compensation

$25.00 per hour
