We are seeking a Mortgage Loan Assistant/Processor who brings strong technical understanding, exceptional accuracy, and a commitment to supporting both customers and lenders with professionalism and care.

This role is essential to ensuring that every mortgage file is complete, compliant, and processed with the highest level of attention to detail. What You’ll Do

Support mortgage processing by preparing initial disclosures, reviewing documentation, and ensuring accuracy throughout the loan file.
Coordinate third‑party items including title work, appraisals, flood determinations, verifications, and payoffs, following up to ensure timely receipt.
Assist lenders by monitoring loan progress, clearing exceptions, answering borrower questions, and preparing closing documents.
Maintain system accuracy through precise data entry in the Loan Origination System and core banking system, including HMDA data and customer profiles.
Manage post‑closing tasks such as submitting documents for recording, tracking final title policies, and supporting investor reporting.

What You’ll Bring

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage high‑volume, time‑sensitive work with accuracy in a regulated environment.
Mortgage or financial industry experience—an associate degree with related experience, or equivalent work history.
Technical proficiency in Word, Excel, and loan processing systems, with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
Customer‑focused communication skills to support borrowers, lenders, realtors, and internal teams with clarity and professionalism.
Problem‑solving and organizational skills to navigate documentation requirements, regulatory timelines, and exception tracking.
